Spot Details
A lake-front beach of coarse sand and long grasses. Enough room for 30 people to set up, launch and land without too much trouble. Beware of rubbish on the beach, especially broken glass in the longer
grass near the trees. Popular spot with
local kitesurfers and occasionally windsurfers.
Best winds are NE for clean and strong cross-onshore breezes.
Club Locus is situation
across the road with members-only car-parking but they're pretty
relaxed about it. The club primarily supplies parking, gear storage, shower and toilet facilities (they have hot water showers!) and a few supplies eg. line, harnesses etc.
Locus also has instructors on standby most days, although you need to be able to speak Japanese.
